Very True. This company did not take off like they wanted it too, so they went the pet rock gimmick.

I don't think they have an eye for what people want. Was Whalesville a story that needed to be told? Adam Polina is a great artist, but did it really meet a commercial void in the market and have a great sales potential? Dinesh was in a video opening his first sample from the printer and he seemed excited about it. I think the problem is that he's still got the thrill of seeing talented people produce a product for him and he's not thinking about the market potential. A publisher should never do anything to limit their potential audience. At Valiant, he produced one-of-a-kind variants. That limits the number of collectors that can own everything they produced. That's like holding a middle finger up to every collector that was wanting to support the company 100%. It's one thing to get attention, it's another thing to ignore what the collector feels when they support the product. A feeling of betrayal should never be an emotion that the consumer should face.
