The first of which, is a screenplay Liefeld wrote "a short while back" that he's now uploaded to his website for “the most extreme Youngblood die-hards” to download for free. robliefeldcreations.com/youngblood-script/The creator of “Deadpool” is obviously still very excited about the story and, although it seems this screenplay, as it is, won’t make it to the screen Liefeld said that it’s "very likely" he’ll adapt it as a graphic novel in the very near future. “This is my vision of what a Youngblood movie would look and how it would feel like. I know that fans who have loved Youngblood through the ages are certain to be thrilled by some if not many of the beats throughout this script. This has not been exposed at the studio level and that is certainly not the purpose here. This is for YOU! It costs me nothing to give this to you as a free pdf, something created and written for the most extreme Youngblood die-hards!!!” The first of the ongoing series of “Youngblood” was the flagship publication of the newly formed Image Comics in 1992. In 2017 the publisher and comic series will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in a number of ways, including the relaunch of a new, modernized “Youngblood” with co-writer Chad Bowers (“X-men ‘92”) and artist Jim Towe - whom Liefeld discovered on Twitter.
