New Youngblood Publisher Offers to Develop Ryan Stegman If He Can Draw Sequentials

Terrific Production LLC, the new owner of Youngblood run by controversial comics mogul Andrew Rev, is looking for new talent for their upcoming line of comics. Bleeding Cool previously reported on Terrific’s acquisition of Youngblood from a business partner of creator Rob Liefeld, who is not happy with the development and has cut off involvement with Youngblood as a result, the comics pulled from Image and ComiXology. And Bleeding Cool’s Rich Johnston spoke for four hours with Rev in an interview where Rev would only make convoluted references to Liefeld or Youngblood, never saying the name of either. Then the company launched a Twitter account and immediately began trolling Liefeld.
But now, the company is leaving all that drama behind and has set its sights on the future, identifying a young, up-and-coming artist who hasn’t too much high-profile work. Ryan Stegman, who you might have heard of if you’re really knowledgeable about obscure comics like Venom and Absolute Carnage, is being actively courted by Terrific, which wants to develop Stegman into a superstar artist the same way they claim to have done with “Tony Daniels.”

Anyone who wants to be an artist wants someone who can have belief in their talent before they are 100% ready. Any idiot can hire McFarlane today but detecting talent years before is growth is what i can do

I think what your trying to do is amazing for up and coming artists maybe check out some other unknown artists that need your guidance like Steve ditko,Jack Kirby,Will Eisner,George Perez,Brian bolland or Alex Ross

You will see that we did do that with Tony Daniels. Tony Capito of Now comics did that for Alex Ross with Terminator. We actually can identify fairly accurately the next giants.
